Seating for 24
Leather armchairs and low sofas are arranged in small clusters of two to four. Seating is available on a first-come basis for poker guests; reservations are not required for the lounge itself.
A quiet place for settling in before the cards are dealt, or for lingering after the last hand. The Card Lounge is the calmer counterpart to our dedicated poker room — designed for conversation, reflection, and the slow enjoyment of the evening.
Reserve a Poker Table
The Card Lounge is built for the moments between hands. The lighting is warm and directional, the seating is deep, and the room is quiet enough to hear the shuffle of cards from the next room. Dark timber panelling and smoked graphite walls absorb sound and create a sense of enclosure. Copper light fixtures cast a soft glow over low tables and leather armchairs. The room is deliberately free of screens and loud music, keeping attention on the people present.
Many players use the lounge to review a hand, settle their thoughts, or simply step away from the felt without leaving the building. The lounge is close enough to the poker room that you never miss a call.
“The lounge is where the game really settles. You leave the table, sit in that quiet room, and the hands start to make sense.”
Available at the lounge entrance, so you can step in without carrying the evening with you.
Coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic drinks are served while you wait for your table.
Staff will let you know the moment your reserved poker table is prepared.
The lounge is intentionally calm. It is not a waiting room, but a place to gather your focus. Many regulars use this time to review their notes or simply enjoy the quiet before the cards are dealt. There are no television screens or background music. Seating is arranged to allow private conversation without disturbing others, and the lighting is dim enough to relax the eyes before the brighter poker room.
We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before your reserved poker table. The lounge opens 30 minutes before the first poker session of the evening.
When the last hand is played, the lounge is still open. It is the natural place to settle the evening, discuss the game, and let the intensity of the table fade before you leave. The lounge remains open for at least one hour after the final poker session. Comfortable seating and low lighting help transition from the focus of play. Staff can arrange a table in the restaurant if you wish to continue the evening over dinner.
“The lounge is where the game really settles. You leave the table, sit in that quiet room, and the hands start to make sense. It’s part of the ritual now.”
Neither the lounge nor the poker room has television screens or digital displays. The entire venue is designed to keep attention on the cards, the table, and the people in the room. Card Manor Stradbroke is an offline poker venue; all play is in-person.
Leather armchairs and low sofas are arranged in small clusters of two to four. Seating is available on a first-come basis for poker guests; reservations are not required for the lounge itself.
The lounge is open during all poker room operating hours. A small service bar offers coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic drinks throughout the evening.
Smart-casual attire is required; no sportswear or beachwear. Mobile phones should be silenced, and calls are not permitted in the lounge. The lounge is a non-smoking space; a designated outdoor area is available.
The Card Lounge maintains a quiet, respectful atmosphere. Guests are asked to keep conversations low and to silence mobile devices while in the lounge. The venue is strictly 21+ and enforces a respectful environment.
The lounge is the beginning of the evening, not the end. When you are ready, our staff will escort you to your reserved poker table in the dedicated poker room. Reservations for poker tables can be made online or by phone. Walk-in guests are welcome if tables are available. The transition from lounge to poker room takes less than a minute.
After the cards are put away, the restaurant at Card Manor Stradbroke offers a quiet, chef-led dining experience. The dining room is a short walk from the lounge and is open late on poker nights. The restaurant serves a seasonal menu with a focus on local produce, and reservations can be made separately from poker table bookings. The dining room shares the same dark timber and copper design language as the lounge.
